Alex Berg, Teacher

Alex "Berg" Berg has been involved with UCBTLA since 2006, and has thankfully managed not to wear out his welcome since then. As a student, he's studied with Matt Besser, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh of the Upright Citizens Brigade and many others. He's been performing with Sentimental Lady since their inception, and has been with three-man group Convoy since even before their Cagematch days.

Outside of the theater, Berg's co-created and starred in a Comedy Central pilot, appeared on Reno! 911, was kind of in Meet Dave, and had a recurring role on the short lived but critically acclaimed FX show Terriers. He's obsessed with octopuses, squid, and cuttlefish, and yes, that is a relevant detail if you're signing up for one of his classes. Have at it!
