Matt Walsh, Teacher
Originally from Chicago, Matt Walsh studied improvisation at Del Close’s ImprovOlympic Theater and
Second City and was a member of Second City’s National Touring Company.
From 1990-1996, Walsh joined the Annoyance Theater, performing in such
shows as The Real Live Brady Bunch and Co-Ed Prison Sluts. Walsh is
a founding member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, performing and
co-writing such shows as Cerebral Strip Mine, Bucket of Truth,
Punch Your Friend in the Face, Saigon Suicide Squad and Big Dirty Hands.
Matt made his feature film debut in the Tom Green film Road Trip. Matt co-wrote and co-stars in the independent film Martin & Orloff that premiered at The U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. Matt has been seen in numerous national commercials as well as a correspondent for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Matt's recent movie credits include Semi-Pro, School for Scoundrels, Old School, Elf, Bad Santa, and
Starsky and Hutch.
