Moving Large Objects In Space
Object work is fundamental part of improv. In this course, students will learn and master skills of pretending to move large objects through space. Improvised large objects may include boulders, couches, and grandfather clocks. In the first weeks of the course, students will learn what constitutes a large object as compared to small and medium sized objects. The second half of the course will focus on moving the large objects through imaginary space. Students may be asked to bring a large object to class.
Please Note: This class does not deal with object work in 'outer space.'
If you are interested in taking this class, send an email to erik@ucbcomedy.com with the subject "Moving Large Objects In Space", by 12pm (noon) on Friday April 24th. We will review the applicants and send a notice to those who have been accepted by Friday, May 1st.

No class May 25.
Class Size 12 students.

Charlie Sanders, Teacher
Charlie Sanders is a comedian/actor/writer that has been performing at UCB Theatre for the past 8 years. He currently plays with "Shitty Jobs" and has appeared with such groups as "Reuben Williams", National Cagematch champions "C,C+C Improv Factory", and the art changing "Police Chief Rumble". He is a founding member of the sketch group "Buffoons", which appeared at the 2007 Montreal Comedy Festival, and created the hit one man show "Minnesota Muslim".
Charlie has appeared in national commercials, was a regular actor on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", and is in some indie movies which you might be able to see if you fly to New York and go to the Angelika Theatre.
