Jim Woods, Teacher

Jim Woods grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina where he first started improvising at Comedy Sportz. After years of short form improv and not going to college he moved to Chicago to study long form at Improv Olympic. After performing for 3.5 years in Chicago, Jim was hired for the internationally acclaimed comedy theater Boom Chicago in Amsterdam. Yeah, Amsterdam.

After 3 years of performing improv and sketch in Amsterdam Jim moved to Los Angeles where he studied with Matt Besser, Ian Roberts and Matt Walsh of the Upright Citizens Brigade. Jim performs with the UCBTLA house teams Last Day of School and The Smokes.
