Students will learn the fundamentals of long-form improvisation including: agreement, active listening, playing characters, playing truthfully and to the top of your intelligence and group mind.
Course meets for 8 sessions, each 3 hours long.
Students will take part in a class performance, generally held at the UCB Theatre.
Students required to see at least 2 improvised shows at the UCB Theater before the end of the course.
Class Size: 16 Students
Complete a full class in just one week!
Class will meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday for one week.
Please note, due to the nature of the intensive class, make-ups are much harder to schedule.
Intensive Because we register the intensive classes so far in advance, we cannot announce who will teach the class. For most intensive classes, two or more instructors teach the class jointly.
