Students will learn the fundamentals of long-form improvisation including: agreement, active listening, playing characters, playing truthfully and to the top of your intelligence and group mind.
Course meets for 8 sessions, each 3 hours long.
Students will take part in a class performance, generally held at the UCB Theatre.
Students required to see at least 2 improvised shows at the UCB Theater before the end of the course.

David Siegel, Teacher
David has been studying at the UCB Theatre since 2006, and he can currently be seen performing with "Sherlock & Cookies" as part of Harold Night. After performing with a number of house ensembles, David began teaching regularly in 2010. Before moving to New York, David studied and performed with Dirty South Improv. He's a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
