This class will focus on using the concept of the "Game of the Scene" to create original comedic characters. Students will be taught different strategies for coming up with characters and impressions. They will then develop these characters and impressions through in class performances.
Even though we require improv experience, many of the exercises in this class use sketch writing principles to improve characters.
Please note: Students will be expected to write and prepare characters outside of class each week.
Maximum class size is 12
NOTE: You do not need to be approved for Advanced Study Improv. Successful completion of Improv 401 is the pre-requisite for this course.
