Musical Improv - Intro to Song Structures
If you've watched musical improv and thought "that's impossible I can't believe its made up" or if you've seen it and thought "who cares, I could do that" this workshop is for you! We'll cover basic song structures and every person in the workshop will sing their own improvised solo by the time its done.
Pre-requisite: Compltion of Improv 201
Amber Petty, Teacher
Amber Petty has been studying at UCB since 2004 and is currently on the Harold Team Penthouse Riot. During her time at UCB she's studied with Ari Voukydis, Joe Wengert, Jackie Clarke, Jason Mantzoukas and many more. In addition to working with UCB on Harold night and in various sketch shows (her favorite was Penny's White Orphans), Amber has taught at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts since 2006. Also, she loves to sing and has played every white speaking girl role in West Side Story.
