Acting In Improv with Ben Rameaka
Strengthen the muscles that help you explore the game through commitment, emotional choices and environment work. Get better at the acting component of improvising. Improv is a theatrical medium. Learn to truly commit to your characters, use emotion to your benefit, and get out of your head through the power of reaction. 
Prerequisite: Completion of Improv 201

Ben Rameaka, Teacher

Ben Rameaka is an  improviser, actor and voice over artist. He has a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Vermont and an MFA from the now defunct Actor's Studio program at the New School.  He has been in many UCB productions including KILLGORE, Greatest Concert Ever, and the hit show "Waiting For Obama: A Night At The Hall Of Presidents"  which went to the San Francisco Sketchfest.  He performs on the UCB house team Airwolf every Saturday night.  He has done voiceovers for Bullfrog Suntan Lotion, Trojan Condoms, Popeye's Chicken, D'Angelo's and a couple other restaurants but no other prophylactic companies. He also has a micro part in Amazon.com's original pilot "Alpha House."
