(9510) Improv Elective Monday 12-3pm David Siegel

Improv Elective: Special Improv Class

Must have previous UCBT class experience. See course description below for details.
Monday 12-3pm
Start Date
Mon January 20, 2014, 12:00pm EST

Make things easier for yourself
Improv is hard enough as it is, but we make it even harder on ourselves! The best improvisers consistently set themselves up to succeed. That means establishing a base reality where you can remember versus having to invent, and letting real life experience and sensibility drive the scene instead of having to figure things out. We will explore this approach both in the context of organic scenework and initiating with a premise.
Prerequisite: Completion of UCB Improv 101

David Siegel, Teacher

David has been studying at the UCB Theatre since 2006, and he can currently be seen performing with "Sherlock & Cookies" as part of Harold Night. After performing with a number of house ensembles, David began teaching regularly in 2010. Before moving to New York, David studied and performed with Dirty South Improv. He's a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
