Students will take part in a class performance, generally held at UCB Theatre.

Important! Improv 101 students enrolling after February 3, 2014:

Some summer intensives are being listed early for those making summer travel plans. We will offer additional intensives and regular courses between now and July. Do not sign up for this because it is the only class you see online at present, sign up for it if it is the only course that fits your summer travel plans.
Should I take an intensive?
Intensive courses meet in a condensed period of time compared to our standard eight-week courses. They are recommended mostly for students who do not live in the NYC area, have extensive previous improv experience, or unique schedules that make clearing one or two weeks easier than clearing the same time slot for eight weeks. If you can take a regular four or eight week course, we recommend you do that. It's cheaper, and you'll have more chances to see free improv shows and practice between classes.
Please note, due to the nature of the intensive class, make-ups are much harder to schedule.
PLEASE CHECK SCHEDULE CAREFULLY.
PLEASE READ SHOW REQUIREMENT CAREFULLY! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CLASS IF YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO SEE TWO SHOWS BEFORE THE GRADUATION PERFORMANCE.
You will need to be free weeknights to see shows.
