Emily Altman

Emily Altman is a New York City based comedy writer and performer. She has been taking classes at the UCB since 2005 and since 2010 she's been a writer on the maude team Onassis, winner of the 2011 Friars Club Improv and Sketch Competition.

Emily has also written and performed in dozens of shows in New York City and elsewhere, with her independent sketch teams "Gentleman Caller" and "Kathy and Emily" (with fellow UCB writer Kathy Salerno).

Emily is a proud graduate of Smith College and Columbia University. When not writing or performing, Emily can be found teaching Italian at the State University of New York: F.I.T , doing the clichèd “Italian Professor by day, Sketch Comedienne by Night” thing.
