Have you wasted your life watching trash TV? Are you ashamed because you have a greater understanding of the social impact of The Challenge than World War I? Good news! This workshop will help you turn all the horseshit in your brain into fresh, funny sketches that reflect your takes on today’s culture.
Students should bring a one pager to the workshop inspired by something they love (or hate) in pop culture—a TV show, movie, music, or celebrities. We'll brainstorm together to come up with possible beats, and students will leave with an outline to write a full draft.
* You must be listed on the DCM website as a performer in a group from out of town to enroll. The registrar will check for your name and if you are not listed when you enroll, you will be removed from the workshop and lose $55.
