The key to the best improv scenes is strong listening and reacting. In this workshop we'll focus on techniques to give your scenes fuller games and more advanced agreement. Your scene partner has all the answers, folks. Let's start using them!

Joey Price, teacher
Joey Price is an actor/improviser/writer living in Brooklyn. At UCB, he has studied under Shannon O'Neill, Ari Voukydis, Chelsea Clarke, Kevin Hines and Lydia Hensler. He was on a house improv team at UCB from 2012-2017Â and can be seen performing around town with his indie-teams Warren and We Godzillas. He was also a writer and performer for the monthly UCB show Everyone's Favorite Game Show and helped create and direct Deep Space Live! a show that performs around New York.
Joey got his comedy start in San Francisco, where he worked as a theatre producer, director, writer and performer. He is the co-founder of Beards Beards Beards: A Theatre Company, whose productions included Gutenberg! The Musical! (featuring Joey as Bud), and his original show Emo! the musical, which was also produced as part of the 2009 SF Sketchfest. He is a founding member of the sketch comedy/performance art troupe VentureTek, who performed at the aforementioned SketchFest and other venues across the bay area, and he directed musical theatre for 3 years at the University of San Francisco. He holds a B.A. in drama (yes, "DRAMA") from San Francisco State University.
