Alex French, teacher
Alex is a writer and performer living in New York City. He has studied sketch and improv under such UCB greats as Michael Delaney, Neil Casey, Charlie Sanders, Dominic Dierkes, Shannon O'Neill, Will Hines, Kevin Hines, Ben Rodgers, and Dyna Moe, among others.
Alex grew up in Cincinnati watching the stinky Bengals and then went to school at Notre Dame, watching the slightly less stinky Fighting Irish teams and majoring in Film and Television (which was not stinky at all). He moved to New York after graduation and taught 4th grade for two years through Teach For America.
Formerly a member of Spooky Ghost, Three Dogs, and Fun Fun Fun, he can currently be seen improvising at the UCB East Village Theatre every Sunday night in Higgins: the Instagram Show, as well as various other shows and venues throughout the city.
