Doug Moe, teacher
I'm an actor, writer and comedian living in Brooklyn, New York, the epicenter of the artisanal mustache renaissance.
My book "Man Vs Child: One Dad's Guide to the Weirdness of Parenting" was named one of Amazon's "Best Humor Books of 2017" It's a funny dad book for parents worried about messing up their kids.
My second book is "How Not to Get Shot And Other Advice from White People," co-authored with D.L. Hughley. The New York Times Book Review calls it “A satirical but apt addition to the culture’s fraught conversation about race.”
I've been a longtime performer and instructor at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. On TV, you've maybe seen me in "Inside Amy Schumer," "30 Rock" or "Difficult People," among other places. You can see me do improv every week in Teacher Feature.
I write funny things besides my book. I write a featured Tumblr blog about being a dad at www.manvchild.com I tweet at @dougmoe. I've written for McSweeney's, Funny or Die, Gawker and others.
Why can't I register?
