Students will learn the fundamentals of long-form improvisation
including: agreement, active listening, playing characters, playing
truthfully and to the top of your intelligence and group mind.
Understanding the fundamentals will be achieved through exercises and
scene work in class.
Course meets for 8 sessions, each 2 hours long.
Students should have access to a computer and stable, robust internet access, webcam & microphone.
This
online course uses Google Classroom and Google Meet programs to conduct
live sessions with your instructor and fellow students.

Allyn Pintal is a writer and performer living in Los Angeles. She was born in the Philippines and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She co-hosts/co-produces the wildly popular show, Filipino AF. Currently, she can be found performing on Harold Night with Bitchin'! She is a writer for the Maude team Duchess! She also hosts a monthly improv/storytelling show in the Inner Sanctum with her indie team k3wlAZN420. Past UCB teams include the Harold teams Mondegreen and Vulture, the Maude teams Old Flame and Thirst Trap, and the Mess Hall team Green Light Go! Other shows she has performed in include: Asian AF, We're Gross, Play by Play, Cagematch, and many more!
