Play/Pause

Jump-start your genre parody writing by getting granular with Hollywood movies.  We'll screen trope-filled films and dissect every possible game out of it that we can find.  Every time a new game is spotted, we'll stop the film and discuss. From there, you'll take these ideas to write sketches, that we'll be refining throughout the class. Your instructor cannot guarantee the film will be good, but the sketches will be. (DISCLAMER: Some films may include sexual situations, violence, and characters using offensive or objectional language)

Does not meet October 9.
