Students must bring a sketch to the FIRST session of class. This sketch should be no longer than four pages. This first sketch should be written utilizing the concept of the "Game of the Scene," taught in Sketch 101. Students should be prepared to devote time outside of class to completing new writing assignments for every session.
The class will end with each student receiving individual feedback from the instructor on their own sketch packet.
Students will be required to see two live sketch shows before the end of the course.
Note: Due to COVID-19, some sessions of this course may meet remotely, online.
Note: Meets on Sundays of Easter and Mother's Day.

Michael Delaney has been a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater since it's inception in 1998 where he has performed, written and directed countless scripted and improvised shows.
Current running shows include The Swarm, The Stepfathers and Gravid Water. Acting: Late Night With Seth Meyers, The Mr. Show Experience, Veep, The Other Guys, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Onion Movie, Onion News Network, SNL, Human Giant, Will Ferrell's You're Welcome America, A Final Night With George W. Bush, Late Night With Conan O'Brien.
Michael is the senior instructor at UCB theater in Sketch writing and improv.
